Dr. Dong Hua, A.P., DAOM, MBA, MD (China)

Dr. Hua has over twenty-five years of working experience in both teaching and practicing Chinese Medicine. He graduated and was awarded a Bachelor Degree of Medicine from Shanghai Traditional Chinese Medicine University. Later, he became a  Medical Doctor in Shanghai Medical Center. When he worked in China, Dr. Hua gained rich knowledge not only from the teaching and clinical experiences but also from the masters who he followed in Shanghai TCM Hospital.  Dr. Dong Hua gained Doctoral degree of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine.

 

After leaving China, he spent nearly ten years in Israel in teaching at Ben Gurion University, Medi-Cin College, Bruteva College respectively, treating people and doing research as the director of Chinese Medicine Unit at the famed Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem.

In Israel, Dr. Hua is one of the most well-known Chinese Medicine doctors. He created the first program for Chinese Manual Therapy (Tui Na) and trained more than a hundred doctors in this ancient method of therapy. In Shaare Zedek hospital, Dr. Hua established the first programs for using Acupuncture Anesthesia to reduce or eliminate the need for traditional anesthetic drugs and lead a comprehensive study for the use of Chinese Medicine to treat cancer symptoms. Every year, by using his integrate clinical skills, he treated thousands of people, which all had satisfactory results. He was beloved by his patients and students, who gave him a nick name of "Golden hand" or "Magic hand".

Dr. Hua also graduated and earned Master degree in business administration from Northwestern University, Chicago.

 

In 2014 Dr. Dong Hua published a new translation and commentary on " Nan Jing The Classic of Difficult Issues".

Currently, Dr. Hua is keeping contribution his knowledge and skills in education and clinic practice. He is also a professor of Chinese Medicine at Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, FL
