Our founder, Dr. Dong Hua is a professor at the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine in Florida and was the director of the Chinese Medicine Department. At Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Israel. Dr. Dong has more than 30 years of clinical and education experience.

Dr. Hua has over twenty-five years of experience teaching and practicing Chinese Medicine. He graduated and was awarded a Bachelor of Medicine from Shanghai Traditional Chinese Medicine University. Later, he became the lead acupuncture Doctor at Shanghai Medical Center. When he worked in China, Dr. Hua gained rich knowledge from his teaching and clinical experiences and also from the masters he followed at Shanghai TCM Hospital. Dr. Dong Hua gained a Doctoral degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine.
After leaving China, he spent nearly ten years in Israel teaching at Ben Gurion University, Medi-Cin College, and Bruteva College, respectively, treating people and doing research as the head of the Chinese Medicine Unit at the famed Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem.
Dr. Hua is one of the most well-known Chinese Medicine doctors in Israel. He created the first program for Chinese Manual Therapy (Tui Na) and trained more than a hundred doctors in this ancient therapy method. In Shaare Zedek Hospital, Dr. Hua established the first programs for using Acupuncture Anesthesia to reduce or eliminate the need for traditional anesthetic drugs and led a comprehensive study for using Chinese Medicine to treat cancer symptoms. Every year, using his integrated clinical skills, he treated thousands of people, all of whom had satisfactory results. He was beloved by his patients and students, who gave him the nickname "Golden Hand" or "Magic Hand."
Dr. Hua also earned a Master's degree in business administration from Northwestern University, Chicago. 2014 Dr. Dong Hua published a new translation and commentary on " Nan Jing The Classic of Difficult Issues." Dr. Hua keeps contributing his knowledge and skills in education and clinical practice. He is also the president and professor at the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Dr. Fred Della Jacono

Dr. Fred Della Jacono is a highly experienced healthcare professional with over ten years of expertise in musculoskeletal disorders. He has cultivated a unique approach to patient care by combining soft tissue therapy, acupuncture, and chiropractic medicine to rehabilitate patients effectively.
Recognizing the importance of a holistic and whole-body approach to healthcare, Dr. Fred finds fulfillment in his role as an essential member of the dynamic and team-oriented medical environment at Teva Wellness. Utilizing his diverse skill set, extensive knowledge, and three professional licenses, he provides compassionate care. He maintains positive relationships with his clients, working collaboratively to improve their overall well-being and quality of life.
DR. KEONGEUN LEE

Keongeun Lee is a NCCAOM Board Certified Acupuncture Physician in Florida. She attended the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine, where she received a master’s degree in Oriental Medicine—skilled in both traditional Oriental medicine principles and modern acupuncture techniques. Proficient in assessing patient’s conditions, creating personalized treatment plans, and using acupuncture, cupping, gua-sha, and Chinese herbal medicine to address various health concerns, including pain management, stress reduction, and overall wellness. She is fluent in English and Korean.
Dr. Erica Nieves
L.Ac, DOM
Erica Nieves is a licensed Acupuncture Physician and a licensed massage therapist. She began her journey in alternative medicine in 2004 as a massage student at The Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences in New York City. As part of their Associate's degree program, she was introduced to the paradigm of Oriental medicine and philosophy by studying Shiatsu. Shortly after graduating from massage school, she enrolled at The Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, where she studied for two years. Longing to return to the East Coast and her family, she relocated to South Florida. She completed her Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Oriental Medicine at the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine. In her practice, she has used acupuncture, Chinese herbs, massage, cupping, and gua sha to treat acute and chronic pain, neurological issues, digestive complaints, and menopause symptoms. She has assisted patients in weight loss and smoking cessation. Erica speaks fluent English and Spanish.
